The Company History
Dermody Properties is privately held, with a rich history of success for over 47 years as one of the most agile and responsive private commercial developers in the nation. The collective experience and expertise of the commercial team we have assembled under DP Partners have enabled us to locate and develop prime industrial properties across the nation, and then forward the financial and logistic benefits on to our clients.
Dermody Properties’ corporate headquarters is located in Reno, Nevada. Presently, the company has five regional offices located in Chicago, Harrisburg, Las Vegas, Reno, Portland and Savannah.
Throughout the company’s history, we have been committed primarily to commercial development, most recently under our industrial arm, DP Partners/Dermody Properties. Consequently, we have had the benefit of bringing this primary focus when working with our clients, their brokers and real estate advisors. The strategic alliances we have developed throughout the U.S. have provided us with the resources and additional expertise that enables us to be even more responsive to market opportunities as they arise.
The Company Vision
With an eye towards the future and to further demonstrate our commitment to our clients and the communities we serve, Dermody Properties launched its “4Green Program” in March 2007. Dermody Properties is committed to utilizing and exploring energy-efficient resources and environmentally friendly options for all of our facilities, and has created a quantifiable and measurable set of criteria to achieve these goals.
The company’s broader vision of building for tomorrow, however, transcends beyond property development; rather, it encompasses our support for the communities in which we conduct business. In fact, our employee-managed Dermody Properties Foundation has been providing funds and volunteer support to worthwhile non-profit organizations and community causes across the country for decades. Sharing our success and giving back to our communities is a vital part of our mission, our philosophy and our vision for the future.
