Brendan Egan

Brendan Egan is the Regional Director of Development for Dermody Properties. Prior to rejoining Dermody, Mr. Egan was the President and CEO of 6 development, LLC. He has been a real estate professional since 1985. Beginning in Southern California, he worked in commercial real estate brokerage throughout the Orange County and Los Angeles areas. In 1988 Mr. Egan moved to Reno and began a 12-year career with one of the nation's largest and most respected developers, Dermody Properties. 

At Dermody, Mr. Egan was responsible for many development projects in the Reno/Sparks area including retail shopping centers (Airport Square - Costco), office buildings and industrial complexes. In his final two years at Dermody Properties, he was put in charge of the development, marketing and leasing of the company's projects in Indiana and Pennsylvania.

In 2000 Mr. Egan joined as a partner with Sierra Crest Equities, LLC, based in the Sacramento area. His responsibilities were to bring in new business and investors. In the three years with Sierra Crest, he helped the partnership grow to almost 4 million square feet of office and industrial buildings. Transactions were completed in California, Tennessee, Indiana, West Virginia and Georgia.

In 2003, seeing the need for small neighborhood centers in the Reno/Sparks area, Mr. Egan formed Timber Ridge Development, LLC. He and his partners developed some of the most recognizable projects in the area.

In 2006 Mr. Egan teamed up with long time friend Jack Dolan, creating 6 Development, LL. Together they have created a company based upon their similar philosophies of what a developer should be: customer driven, aggressive, competitive and fun. This friendship, started at the early age of 6 on the playground, is the namesake and inspiration of the company. He has served on the boards of the Red Cross, C.A.R.E. Chest and the Desert Research Foundation (DRI).

Mr. Egan and his wife Cynthia live in Reno and are the proud parents of two sons. He enjoys golfing and traveling.
